Anais Aida – Watchawannado | UNSIGNED

Our homie Anais Aida has slowly, but surely been gearing up to release new, original music to the world, and today, that moment has finally come! The French-born, New York native (who’s a recent graduate of NYU) Anais’ new single “Watchawannado” is now available on iTunes, and when I tell you it’s good…it’s GOOD! It follows in the new progressive, alt-R&B vibe that has been popularized in 2013, and Anais’ rich vocals over the production are amazing. Think Marsha Ambrosius, but with less vocal acrobatics and more mystery. Enough talking, listening to “Watchawannado” below:

Think slow cause the weed lit
Exactly what I needed
How can we save this?
You’re red eyed, Oooh

Exaggerate the senses
Emotions are undressed
Nobody can touch us
I’m open, For more

Every night in my baby’s arms
Hold me like
There is no tomorrow
So watchawannadoo X3

Verse 2
Eyelids heavy, morning-like
Sleeping, my body ain’t ready
I’m feeling numb
Plenty doubts in my, holding out for my
Moments of paralysis, no analysis will do
Your eyes still closed, I’m closer
Your breath lands on me now it’s over
I think I wanna stay in all day
What would people say

Every night in my baby’s arms
Hold me like
There is no tomorrow
So whatchawannadoo X3
