Brianna Perry | Symphony No. 9: The B Collection | MIXTAPE

Brianna Perry is finally back with her Symphony No. 9 mixtape, and I gotta say, it’s the best female rap project I’ve heard since Nicki Minaj’s first album. It’s real hip hop, with a lil R&B influence, like real rap is. There’s no electro instances, no pop records, just rap. Like the fellas. With features from Trey Songz, Future, T-Pain, French Montana, Pusha T, and Teyana Taylor, check out the Atlantic Records signee’s album worthy tape below.

Brianna is definitely the truth. Been waiting forever for the follow-up to the amazing Face Off Mixtape and she delivered as expected but this other girl K’La (“All Your Love”, “Blame” ft. Nas) also released her mixtape “Everyday People” yesterday as well and it truly deserves some shine as well. She’s already released two stellar tapes and comes back harder than ever with these 21 flawless tracks; no dj’s, no features, just her poetic rapping (or lyricism as she says), and beautiful singing about real sh*t everyday people go through. Something on there for everyone. Not even going to try and decide between them because they are my two fav up-and-comers but one things for sure, there’s hope for the future of female rap and these other girls need to step their cookies up.
