Bruno Mars Covers GQ Magazine’s ‘Style Bible’ Issue | LIFESTYLE

Justin Timberlake may be the man of the moment, but don’t forget about Bruno Mars. His sophomore album Unorthodox Jukebox was released in December, and it has already gone platinum. The lead single, “Locked Out Of Heaven” went #1 (Bruno’s 4th in 3 years) and stayed #1 for 6 weeks. That song is still riding high on the charts (#10), but Bruno’s follow-up single, “When I Was Your Man” is also gaining steam, currently sitting at #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Aside from music, Bruno is also making big moves in the magazine world. His latest cover is a big one: the cover of GQ Magazine’s ‘Style Bible’ Issue. He shows of his super suave sense of style, and opens up about his 2 year old cocaine possession case, amongst other things. Check out Bruno’s spread below:

On why sex is such a big part of his music: “It feels good to sing about. It feels…sexy. It puts you in a sexy frame of mind. It feels good to project. Sex is a great party starter.”

On the secret to a hit song: “Shit. For me? Hypnotize me in the very first three seconds, wake my ear plate up, give me something that I haven’t felt before…and then punch me in the fucking face.”

On his arrest for cocaine possession in 2010: “I was young, man! I was in fucking Vegas. I wasn’t thinking. … I was given a number one record and I’m out doing dumb shit.”
