American Idol has wastes no time replacing this past season’s panel of Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson. E! News has reported today, that the network is looking to cut the panel down to three judges, and they want them all to be past winners/Idol superstars. It’s being reported that the first judge to sign on is Oscar winner, Jennifer Hudson.

This could be a super genius move for ‘Idol’ producers and execs (alot of which are getting the axe as well, or a horrible disaster. Granted, fans of American Idol will LOVE the fact that there are three past Idol stars making up the panel (2 of them being huge superstars at that); it brings alot more credibility to the show. But that being said, are Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson made for TV? Are they THAT exciting? That’s the part we don’t know. But we think this is a pretty genius move.
