There is a special place in my heart for artists and musicians, who aren’t afraid to go against the grain, maintain creative and artistic integrity, while approaching music with such raw and emotional conviction, to get you hooked. Again, representing the up-and-coming male artists from the UK, we have Greighwolfe.
Creating a lane of his own, the Rock-Soul Gloucestershire-native describes his as music as “..lo-fi rock sounds paired with dreamy synths and fueled by electro blues rhythms [which] creates a sexy, dreamy, playful atmosphere that immerses his fans into his seductive world.” Greighwolfe appears to be a seasoned musician and performer, having been trained in Opera at a young age, toured with various rock bands and even headlined his own London and U.S. tour last year.
This UK Rock-star has released his 6 song, debut EP “Black”, to much critical acclaim. Hearing this body of work will give you one hell of a listening experience from top to bottom. With his grunge-filled soulful voice, effortless range and sickening falsetto, Greighwolfe is undeniably claiming his spot in the industry with this material. His Rock, Soul, R&B infused sound has even drawn some comparisons to music legends like D’Angelo and Lenny Kravitz; whom he cites as huge influences in his musicality.
Greighwolfe prides himself on jaywalking through the “contested crossroads of the ‘black’ and ‘white’” musical structures, historically put in place within the industry and we couldn’t agree more.
