Every now and then, a new artist comes along with an incredible “résumé”and undeniable talent that catches our eye–or ears. Chief WaKiL, an up-and-coming emcee, has been making quiet the name for himself and caught our attention with is hard-hitting “0-100” freestyle in 2014. Having started his career working under award winning music producer Brian Kennedy, the Kansas City hip-hop hopeful has worked with some big names in music, such as Kelly Rowland, Three 6 Mafia, Michelle Williams, Big Sean and more. As a producer, he has even scored some of this seasons top televisions shows like,FOX’s Empire and ABC’s How to Get Away With Murder.
In 2013 Chief WaKiL released his debut album, Little Giant: EPic, which was both written and produced by the emcee himself, and has now come together with All Def Digital’s “The Signal”, to release the visual for “Ambidextrous (feat. Jinjoo TheGuitarGirL) a track featured on the album.
