Little Mix Break U.S. Chart Record + Make U.S. Debut on ‘Good Morning America’ | VIDEO


2011 X Factor UK winners Little Mix have made history this past week. This quartet of lovely ladies released their debut album here in the States last week, and this week, it debuted at #4 on the Billboard Charts. selling 50,000 with absolutely no TV promo in this country. Debuting at #4 broke the Spice Girls’ previous record of having the highest charting debut from a British girl group (which they held for debuting at #6 with their debut album SpiceΒ in 1997.

The girls hadn’t even made their US debut on television until today, a week and a half after the album dropped. Fans were packed into Good Morning America studios to see Leigh-Anne, Perry, Jade, and Jesy perform two of their biggest hits. And Little Mix brought it: vocals, stage presence and all!
