Cassie’s back! We haven’t heard from the Bad Boy stunner since 2013’s fire mixtape, RockaByeBaby. But, fret not, Cassie’s new single doesn’t disappoint. Premiered on OVO Sound Radio Saturday night, “Love A Loser” features G-Eazy and sees Cassie sing some hard-hitting opening lyrics: “I’d rather lose a lover than love a loser.” Sheesh! Check out the short, but sweet “Love A Loser” featuring G-Eazy below:
In the past, Cassie’s vocal prowess (or lack thereof) always seemed to be an issue the general public had with her. However; in an age of Selena Gomez ruling pop and artists like Jhene Aiko doing big things in R&B, Cassie’s place in the music industry is definitely welcomed.
Roc Nation young R&B songstress is back with another single from her upcoming debut single. “Back For More” is an airy mid-tempo duet with Jeremih, that features smooth melodies and a super infectious beat. Check out the beautiful lyric video for Justine’s new single below:
New sounds from OVO’s Brampton native, Roy Woods. “Coke, Xans, Molly?” “What Are You On?” borrows from the super popular, Carribbean/Afrobeat vibe that’s ever-present in current mainstream music. And, I don’t hate it at all. Roy Woods does it right. Check out his brand new single below:

The 2nd annual Lil Weezyana Fest, held at Bold Sphere Music in Champions Square in New Orleans, LA, was a party like no other. Yo Gotti, Migos, 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne blazed the stage and delivered hit after hit after hit for a sold out crowd. If you were thinking about attending this year, get your tickets ASAP for the August 27th event. No word on the 2017 lineup, but if these first two years are any indicator (the first year saw Drake and a Hot Boyz Reunion occur), we’re definitley in for a treat. Maybe Drake & Nicki for a little YM action? Check out photos from last year’s event.
We find so much new, dope music and needed a way to share it with you all without having to do 50 individual posts. So, here comes the Damn That’s Dope! playlist!
The idea came from the ‘Now That’s What I Call Music’ CDs. We wanted to take that same concept, but craft epic, cool playlists that weren’t just your typical single-heavy, top 40-driven sequences. ‘Damn That’s Dope’ will have songs from some of your favorite artists, but we like to give shine to the underrated, unsigned and unheard of as well. So, check out Damn That’s Dope! Vol. 1 below via Apple Music.
