Solange Announces Compilation Album ‘Saint Heron’ feat. Cassie, Sampha & Jhene Aiko

Solange has always (well, not always, but for a few years now) been one to do things a little different, so her project of course will be no different. Earlier this year, Solange announced the launch of her very own record label Saint Records. She talked about how she’s been recording a lot of her new material in New Orleans, where she now lives, during her HOT 97 interview. But today, Solange announced that the very first project she’ll release as part of her label will be a compilation album entitled, Saint Heron. The album is set be composed of a bunch of up-and-coming artists that defy the odds of what R&B is thought to be; including Cassie, Jhene Aiko, Sampha, and India Shawn. Check out the artwork (created by Rashaad Newsome), as well as all of the other featured artists. Also, get a taste of the music below:

The project will drop, in stores and digitally, on November 12th via Saint Records.
